The one piece of setup is the LoRaWAN gateway — a small device that connects your sensors to our cloud platform via cellular, so there’s no client WiFi needed. Indoor gateways simply plug into any standard outlet. For rooftop or outdoor equipment, we offer weatherproof outdoor gateways that run on 24V DC. Once the gateway is up, mount your sensors and you’re live. Our USA-based support team walks you through your first install and is available every step of the way.
What if a sensor goes offline or fails?
Our platform monitors every sensor and gateway 24/7 with built-in heartbeat monitoring — if anything goes offline unexpectedly, you get an instant alert so you know before your client does. All hardware carries a 2-year warranty — if a unit fails within that window we’ll get a replacement out to you. Our USA-based support team is available to help diagnose whether it’s a connectivity issue, a placement issue, or a hardware fault — most issues are resolved remotely without a truck roll.
Do my clients need WiFi or IT involvement?
No — and this is one of the biggest advantages of our system. Our preferred setup uses cellular connectivity, so there’s no asking your client for WiFi passwords, no dealing with their IT department, no firewall issues, and no dependency on their network stability. Your monitoring works completely independently of anything happening on their end. That said, if a client site has a reliable network and WiFi or ethernet connectivity makes more sense, we support that too. Either way — one less headache on every single install.
